A bright modern kitchen to replace an old standard “new build” kitchen

The customer came to us as she wanted to create a bright modern kitchen to update the “standard” new build kitchen that had been in her property when it was built.  She wanted to make the best use of the space she had, and also wanted to move away from “off the shelf” kitchens. She wanted a higher quality spec which included appliances and finishes, with a very bright, modern, minimalist design brief for us to meet.

The carcasses of the cabinets were produced in Light Grey Egger MFC and we utilised an ultra modern and on trend Matt Finish for the doors.  The doors were manufactured in Perfect Sense Matt Grey Egger MDF

It was important to provide a long lasting for the customer, so Corian worktops were the best choice.  The client chose Silver Birch Corian for her colour option, with drainer grooves at the side of the sink

Sinks & Taps

The sink used was an extension of the Corian worktop, so we used a Corian Glacier White 804S Sink.  The taps used were Bristan Monobloc Kitchen Sink Mixer.

Stainless steel Integrated appliances were chosen throughout the kitchen and were:
Microwave – Indesit MW12221X
Electric Double Oven – Indesit IDD6340IX
Gas Hob – Bosch PCQ715B90E
Chimney Extractor – Bosch DWW077A50B
Fridge Freezer – Beko BCFD173
Slimline Dishwasher -Indesit DISR14B1

Finishing Touches

A kitchen requires a hard wearing floor so we fitted Karndean ST5 Soapstone flooring, with Sand, Clay and Stone design strips to accent the floor.

This was a lovely kitchen to produce, creating a bespoke feel and removing the "new build" standard from the home.
